Goods you post to the warehouse yourself

Forwarding receives goods you bought directly from a seller. The archived Niuniubox terms discussed here distinguish it from an agent purchase; confirm the current Pikobuy service and after-sales scope before sending goods.

The flow

Four steps, as the agent describes them

These are the operator's own four steps. What follows is what they do not say in the same place.

  1. Ask for the warehouse address

The address is issued to you rather than published. That is normal for this kind of service and it means the address you were given is the one to use, not one from a forum post.

  2. Submit a transfer form before it arrives

The declaration is how the warehouse matches an unexpected parcel to your account. A parcel that turns up without one is a parcel nobody can attribute.

  3. Wait for check-in, with photographs

The warehouse photographs what arrives and sends it for your confirmation. Forwarded goods "must be unpacked for inspection" in the archived transfer terms. If a seal must be preserved, confirm the current inspection scope before forwarding the item.

Accepted forwarded goods continue to the international parcel stage.
  4. Find it in your orders and pay the freight

From here it behaves like anything else in the warehouse: pick a line, pay, ship. The timing arithmetic on one parcel describes a parcel-planning example; check the current rules for every included item.

The difference

The same parcel, two sets of rules

Row four is the one that costs people money quietly. A parcel sent carriage due draws the freight straight out of the balance, and a balance that drops below what a return needs is a return you cannot file.

When it is worth it

Three cases, and one where it is not

Forwarding is a tool with one sharp edge. These are the jobs it does well and the job it does badly.

  • Something the agent cannot buy

A gift, a personal item, something bought on a platform the agent does not cover. Forwarding is the only route for these and the trade is simply stated: you get the line, not the recourse.

  • Consolidating with a purchase

One box instead of two is a real saving on an international line. It also means your forwarded item is sitting in the warehouse while the purchases run their windows down, which is the trade return budget measures.

  • You want it photographed

Compulsory unpacking is a feature when the thing you are worried about is whether the sender shipped what they promised. The photographs are dated and come from a third party.

  • Not for anything you might send back

If there is a realistic chance you will want to return it, forwarding is the wrong route, because the return path does not exist. Buying the same item through the agent keeps the window, and the window is the whole subject of this site.

Give the warehouse a parcel it can match to you.

Before asking a seller to dispatch, copy the current warehouse address and account reference from your own Pikobuy account. Preserve the exact recipient/reference fields, and keep the seller order number and domestic tracking number together. A historical address screenshot or another buyer’s code is not an address to reuse.

Register the expected contents and quantity through the current forwarding process. If one seller sends two parcels, retain both tracking references. If several seller orders share one shipment, list what should be inside so the arrival can be reconciled rather than guessed from the outer carton.

Suppose the warehouse records one bag when your direct seller order contains two. First compare the seller dispatch information with the arrival record and ask whether another domestic parcel is still coming. Keep the seller conversation and proof of what was ordered. The forwarding agent’s receipt record is useful evidence; it does not make the agent the original seller.

Resolve a wrong-content or missing-parcel question with the appropriate party before combining the goods internationally. Ask the agent what inspection, return shipping or handling it can provide and what it costs under the current terms. Older Niuniubox clauses do not establish the full scope of current Pikobuy services.

Questions

About goods the agent did not buy

Can I mix forwarded goods and purchases in one parcel?

Yes, and it is a common reason to forward at all. Keep track of which half is which, because only one half has a return path and the difference is invisible once everything is in the same box.

What if the sender shipped the wrong thing?

That is between you and the sender. The agent documents what arrived and can post it back at your cost; it does not take up the dispute, because it was never party to the purchase.

Is there a charge for storage?

The policies describe storage terms that the operator can change, so the current figure is one to read on the operator's own page rather than here. This site does not publish numbers that move without notice.

Does forwarding avoid customs attention?

No. Customs looks at the outbound parcel, and the published position is that an oversized, overweight or sensitive parcel may bring customs to the recipient directly. Mixing forwarded goods in makes a parcel bigger, not quieter.
